The Lake City Humane Society is pleased to announce they have begun accepting CareCredit for clinic appointments.
Lake City – November 10, 2020 - The Lake City Humane Society Now Accepts CareCredit announces that they will begin accepting CareCredit in November 2020. “This is pivotal for our clinic’s ability to assist the low-income community’s pets.” says Brian Hogue-Pua, director of finance and shelter operations, “We have been working to accept CareCredit for quite some time and look forward to assisting companion animals whose owners needed another way to pay for services.”
The Lake City Humane Society is comprised of dedicated staff who will always go above and beyond their call of duty to ensure the best care for the animals. Along with a constant fellowship of volunteers and help from the community, the Lake City Humane Society has been able to care for over 5,000 animals each year. Striving to find everyone a home, the staff will do whatever it takes to make ensure every animal is cared for.
LCHS is preparing for an expansion of campus with the addition of the James Montgomery Animal Wellness Center which will house a variety of services including an expanded clinic for families in the community. The Lake City Humane Society is very thankful for the donations of time and service in the preparation of this new facility and will be introducing fundraising efforts very soon to help assuage the cost of the building. “This Wellness Center is an amazing gift to the community,” said Robin Tobak Ward, Executive Director, “we will be able to expand our clinic services and provide surgeries, all-encompassing wellness packages and are even looking to purchase x-ray and ultrasound equipment.” For information on our current fundraiser, Engrave a Brick, which supports the new center, please contact Jordan Regar through the information provided.
